Problem:

The Burlington area is getting a brand new industrial development, which includes two divisible industrial buildings totalling 248,828 sf. Since the new development does not have tenants that currently have any unique temperature requirements, the building needed to ensure it is equipped to keep tenants comfortable and proper IAQ.

Solution:

We recommended (6) S-Series Cambridge Air Solutions high-temperature heating and ventilation units based on the space size and the requirements. (4) Cambridge units were supplied to building A  for a total of 3050 MBH of total heat, and (2) Cambridge units to building B for a total heat of 2140 MBH.

These units feature a unique blow-thru design, with 160°F temperature rise and 160°F discharge air temperature. This allows them to deliver more usable heat and thermal comfort with minimal temperature variation throughout the heated space.

A very energy-efficient and cost-effective method to heat large commercial and industrial buildings.

What Are the Benefits of HTHV?

  • Improved air temperature uniformity due to superior destratification without supplemental fans
  • Improved indoor air quality due to use of 100% outside air
  • 92% ultra-high efficiency resulting in energy savings and better indoor comfort

Discover the Cambridge S-Series

Cambridge’s S-Series heating system was the best solution for the new Burlington warehouse because it is an energy-efficient, large industrial space heater that is designed to help meet a factory’s heating and air load requirements, eliminating higher ceiling temperatures and uncomfortable drafts. It utilizes 100% fresh air to dilute contaminants and greatly reduces air quality problems associated with indoor manufacturing environments.
